A corset is only as good as its fit. Too loose and you lose the sculpting effect; too tight and you lose the evening. Here's how to get it right the first time.

Step 1: Take three measurements

All you need is a soft measuring tape and two minutes:

  • Bust: around the fullest part of your bust, tape level.
  • Waist: around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
  • Hips: around the fullest part of your hips, about 20 cm below your waist.

Step 2: Compare with our chart

Our pieces follow standard EU sizing, from XS (EUR 34–36) to XL (EUR 42–44). You'll find the full chart with bust, waist and hip measurements in cm on every product page and in our Size Guide.

Step 3: The golden rule — size up

Because our corsets are structured with internal boning and handmade in small batches, we always recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. This matters most for wide-band and non-stretch styles like the Cherry Red Mesh Corset. Many of our designs also feature an adjustable lace-up back — like the Marry the Night corset — which lets you fine-tune the fit to your exact body.

Still not sure?

Within the EU, your first size exchange is free within 14 days — so you can order with confidence. And if you'd like a personal recommendation, email us at info@heartsnwires.com with your measurements and we'll size you ourselves.
